Kick-off: "This House Does Not Mix Waste"

Tuesday, January 14, 2025
"This House Does Not Mix Waste: Separate Waste, Reduce Fees"
Led by Governor Chadchart Sittipunt, Bangkok Governor

The campaign encourages the public to separate waste before disposal to reduce waste volume, lower waste collection fees, and help protect the environment. The initiative provides simple guidelines that every household can follow, such as:

✅ Sorting waste into categories – organic waste, recyclable waste, hazardous waste, and general waste.
✅ Reducing waste at the source – reuse, recycle, and minimize plastic use.
✅ Community collaboration – send recyclable waste to collection points or local recycling programs.

Sign Works Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Tanakul Group, represented by Mr. Sermsak Sripongtanakul, one of our executives, had the opportunity to participate in the Kick-off event for "This House Does Not Mix Waste: Separate Waste, Reduce Fees."

The event featured discussions on two key topics:
"Preparing for the New Ordinance: Waste and Sewage Management for a Sustainable Bangkok"
"Techniques for Waste Reduction to Lower Fees"

Experts from various sectors shared insights, and exhibition booths showcased waste management innovations, including recycling projects, organic waste solutions like eco-friendly compost bins, Sign Works' leaf compost innovation, and food waste disposal machines from various brands. The event aimed to raise awareness of sustainable waste management practices.

Governor Chadchart Sittipunt, along with the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) executives, also announced the launch of the "This House Does Not Mix Waste: Reduce Waste, Reduce Fees" registration process via the BKK Waste Pay application. This initiative supports waste collection from households that separate waste according to Bangkok’s new waste management ordinance.

Citizens are invited to pre-register for the program through the BKK Waste Pay app starting today!
